I don't have savings or anything like that. I've been getting creditor calls and it's very stressful...I just don't know what to do..

You can start off by getting a job. Any job, but not the ones where you would have to wait for weeks or months to reply to your application...I mean any job that would give you income--say, pumping gas, or flipping burgers, or waiting on tables...I mean even if you think that you are too good for those jobs--the fact is that you need money to survive for hopefully just a short time, and also save enough to pay off some of your debts. As for the creditor calls, don't dodge their calls, talk to them and find a way to arrive at an arrangement. They would listen to you, don't worry, they would rather have you pay them, than them suing you.Hope that helped.

I was going to say try to apply for a debt consolidation loan...but you said that you do not have savings, so I changed my mind, you have to qualify for a loan.

Minimize your expenses! Since you have lost your source of income, why not lose your source of debt too? And yes, do get a job, any job that would help you pay your bills. Just to keep you afloat for a short time until you get another steady job.And when you get a good job, save!

Find ways to generate income...how old are you anyway? Maybe you have books and CD's ...collections that might bail you out of this mess--sell them?

Try credit counseling or debt settlement. Speak with a debt consultant to know which one is best for you. Fill out a form and get matched up!
