Not only should you keep your receipts, you should make sure that you actually get them. I had an instance many years ago where I paid a lot of money for something, and never got the receipt. I ended up paying off the item twice! I learned my lesson the hard way. Now, I am sure to get a receipt each time I pay any bill.

I too keep receipts for all important purchases made by me or my family. I have kept all the receipts for the jewellery i have bought years ago. But it does become a nuisance and eats up a lot of space and now i am clearing out some of them..

Well I do keep the receipts. But my problem is that I keep them for ages. I really need to do something about that. I should go through them regularly and throw what ever I find not necessary. I'm sure I'll find receipts of 5 years old :s

I always keep my receipts too just in case I need to prove that I paid for something. It's also my way of taking note all my expenses.

It is best to keep receipts btw it don't eat up a lot of space on your drawer. IF you encounter tech problems on your purchased merchandise you can bring it on the seller and your receipt act as your proof of purchase. It is important in claiming warranty.

I always keep my receipt so that if ever there would be any problems concerning the item(s) that I purchased, I would be able to return it in exchange for a good one. Have a great day!
