It's not only finance anymore if your looking for a job or want a apartment you gotta have some credit. I know it sounds strange but that's the direction our world is headed paper is on the way out. So here are some tips for you to get started....\ Fico scores are tricky so here are some tips to get started... First don't close your cards pay down the balance to no more than half of the credit limit. In other words don't go over half of your credit balance. Second keep your cards open as long as possible as a long time trade line looks good for your fico score. Third make sure your not pulling your credit score and applying for credit everyday this will drop your score. Third payoff any liens and chargeoffs you may owe medical debt is the most common and it is recommended to check your credit at least every year but again not to often.
