Saving Money and Your Bills: Tips on How to be Money Wise
I used to love going to the supermarket. But nowadays, I make my trips short and sweet. I have a list and stick to it. My trips to the supermarket made me realize that it?s getting harder and harder to stretch that dollar. With all those bills that you have to pay in a month, you really can?t do anything about it but to save.
I read once that it?s not how much you earn that ensures a comfortable and happy future; but it?s how much you save and keep saved that matters. That is why it is really important to save money especially when it comes to your monthly bills.
Some people do not just realize it but saving on their monthly bills can provide the best money-saving opportunity for them.
Here?s how:
1. Turn off appliances and lights when not in use
The logic is basically simple. Why would you leave something turned on when nobody is going to use it? That?s definitely a bad habit.
Hence, if you really want to cut back some on your electricity bill, always turn off the lights and your appliances when not in use.
2. Use energy-saving lights
Nowadays, saving on your electricity bill is not impossible because you can opt for energy-saving devices such as lights. Using these energy-saving lights such as fluorescent lights consumes lower amounts of energy but can still give the suitable amount of illumination.
3. Always check for the leaks
Water bills can create a mountain load of pile on your monthly dues if you do not check on the things that might cause your water bill to rise higher. You can prevent this by ensuring that every pipe is free from any leaks.
Some people do not just realize that single drops from leaking pipes could mean additional costs on your water bill.
4. Be more tech-savvy
Cut your phone bill to almost half by simply being tech-savvy. That is, opt for the emails and chatting services of the Internet instead of using your phone to call long distance to your relatives and friends.
5. Try to insulate your home
Insulating your home is a definite energy-saver, money-saver scheme. You will never know how much money you can save on your electricity bill when you start to insulate your home.
Indeed, cutting some of your bills can definitely allow you to save more money. You just have to be wise on your home and everything that you have in it.

This is the basic one and i believe if anyone never do this tips. They will miss something and they cannot save their money in right way. I know maybe some people ignore about their bills. Just got the bill and pay every month without check it. Believe me, if you check your bill every month. You can see that the amount is really big if you count them. Am i right?
So, when you never use anything in your house. Just turn it off. Never waste anymore electric.
Another way. In my country, we already have some gagget which one we can use that thing to make our electric become half than usual. Did you believe that?
Yes ofcourse insulating the home with the insulator, saves lots of energy and gives very little amount is rendered on the electrical usage. The most effective way of saving our money is by the usage of the utilites of electrical products in a proper manner.
Yes. When we can save our money from utilities of electrical is the best way to save your budget. I know some special equipment really can make us pay 10% lower than the previous month. I already buy it and will try this month. Hope its work. Many my friends suggest me to do use that equipment.
- I cut my water-supply bill down dramatically by installing a rain-water tank to the downpipes off the roof. I use the rain water for my garden, or for washing the car or washing the dog.
- I cut my electricity bill by switching off the microwave, computer and TV at the wall if I'm not using them. Leaving them on stand-by still uses power.
- I got rid of my electric kettle and use my gas stove-top to boil water. The element in an electric kettle uses more power than an electric radiator heater!

Very good information. One of the biggest money drains I ever suffered was when I had to pay energy bills in a poorly insulated home. The costs were enormous.
I think those are simple ways to look at it but lets see how easy it really is to put those things into motion. It isn't thagt easy because was are living a certain way. Habits are hard to break.
crystal, you're right. Habits ARE hard to break. I read somewhere once that it can take 28 days to break a habit but only 7 to create one?
So for the next 7 days see if you can remember to create a new habit of turning things off at the wall and see if it gets habit forming enough to make it to the 28 days...

Cutting back on items that are a stealth money drain is important as well. Energy drinks, for example, cost me $3 a day until I realized how much money I was throwing away
