Yes, I squeeze it and if nothing come's out from it, i cut the tube with a pair of scissor to see that it is really empty before throwing it

I always do this. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I think toothpaste manufacturer should use clear tube so that we can see how much is left on the tube.

Yes i too do it, I try to get the maximum out of any stuff for that matter. Even cosmetic tubes and containers get this treatment from me :)
