I am sure some if not many have encountered this problem.....losing your card or your card being robbed. What is the ideal thing to do in these cases? Report to the cops? Contact your Bank? Is their anyway to recover them. Please discuss this problem and solutions here.

call your bank at once so they can block your account and nobody can use it. the bank will issue a fresh card because the old card has no use anymore even if someone found it.

When I have situation like that, I call my bank directly to block the credit card. After that I go to Police Station to report and make stolen letters.

you should immediately call the bank from where you have got your credit card and ask him for a new one and cancel the pevious one

call the bank immediately and ask them to cut your account because your credit card has been stolen. If you dont do this immediately, i am sorry but theres a possibility that the person who got it will abuse it to buy certain products. however the bank can actually trace the person thru the transaction history so calm down, they might give you an alternative solution.

Have the card blocked immediately.  Report the card as stolen so that they can monitor it to see if anyone used it.
