I agree about newspapers costing a lot, that's why I never buy them. A lot of mail servers show headlines on the homepage, and you can always watch the news. I live in a big city, and there are TONS of free newspapers and magazines, and I always recycle them after reading!

Excellent advice, thank you for sharing. I am a firm believer in having a budget. It is definitely harder for someone like me that has a variable income though. On those months I have to cut back as far as I possibly can...my mantra is still....I will be debt free.

if you are saving or controling your expences, that should be done on a regular bases to get maximum benefit.

A little bit here and there yes does go a long way. I remember when I used to earn tips and throw them in a can and at the end of the month I had a nice healthy sum to spend.

Yes. Even saving 10 cents a day will pile up to ALOT one day. Or even pick out cents you see on the floor..

Budgeting just don't teach us how to become wise and practical when it comes of spending but it teach us also how to become a responsible person as well.. Great tips!
