Sorry my answer was so short. Additionally, to save money I look for name brand clothes items on sale after season and then buy those for next years use. I don't follow current trends or styles and create my own unique home and clothing style. I don't try to keep up with the neighbors. I spend the money that I need for my family as we need it. But luxuries are not a factor.

Yes, there are many strategies it depends on a person on how they deal with it. Budgeting and planning is an example.

Budgeting can makes us rich as well...the decision we have made today lies of what we have in the future.. :)If you are not in a budget then that takes on your from poverty...

Some very helpful tips, thanks for sharing. I personally do not spend money on branded items or on neighbours or on any luxury so I have no concerns regarding my budget in these matters and I do my dress designing myself as I like to wear cloths different from others and which suits me and complements me.
