How to bounce back up from debt settlement or bankruptcy?- from debt settlement, you can't do much about it staying on your report for 7 years. Best you can do is obtain a copy of your report and check for errors. If you see one or several, dispute them, armed with proof, and I suppose your credit worthiness would improve then - if you're successful in cleaning your report, that is.

How to bounce back up from debt settlement or bankruptcy? -- bankruptcy -- Learn from your mistake. Review what caused you to file bankruptcy in the first place and vow never to go down that route again. And the previous post was correct, check for errors in your report, and have them corrected, it's free. And then, be realistic, gradually re-establish your credit.
