Its much wiser to prioritize your bills than any others. This will help you avoiding debt since this is the most important thing that will lead you to borrowing. So why not pay it in advance.

Nice idea you have there, there are some collectors actually that make a schedule for you. This will be a great help if in case there are days that you're busy and can't manage everything.

That's logical. Oftentimes, bills take up the biggest part of the budget so it's much advisable to take care of them ahead, than to have them stack and lead to more worry.

It is good to pay some of your bills ahead of time. I pay my cable bill 6 months ahead of time. Sometimes I'll pay double on my cell bill, so when the bill comes it good to see a 0 balance sometimes.

It's a good thing to do, pay your bill soon! So that, you will not be tensed later! Always have you balance due to nil!

I knew someone who almost lost their house because he was ill and couldn't work. It took a while, but one of the first things he did was save up enough money to make just one extra mortage payment. If he had just sent it in, it would have counted as a reduction of principle, and not given him any cushion at all, so he contacted the company and made arrangements for his bank account to be debited on the first day that the payment would count. So he made his mortgage payment for the first of the month, and then about a week later, his automatic debit started. He said that knowing he had a whole extra month in case of an emergency gave him peace of mind.

I pay my bills ahead of due dates specially those which offer rebates to early payments. Rebates are discounts when accumulated results to savings.

I also like to pay my bills ahead of time, if I can't pay them all ahead of time I like to pay more on them. If something comes up and I need the money, It won't be any stress.
