Is there any way you can lose out by investing in real-estate? Or is it always a profitable venture to invest in real-estate?

I do agree that investing in real estate is a long term investment. BUt given with a good location you could sell it in bigger price after a year or two.. THere are only two things that doesn't depreciate which is worth to invest.. FIrst is Land (Land doesn't grow but our population does) and the next thing are gems like diamonds..

usually, property selling is always profitable.... but if the luck is goin bad then what.......but ya today's time i mean recession the property prices are going down so it is lessable profit while selling the property

I disagree, with the others there are more than one way to invest in real estate you have to be creative and resourceful but you never really have to own the property itself if you do your homework read up on it and you will see that realestate is the best investment for the short and long run.

I think investment at land, real-estate is good ways to get profitable. Price of real-estate and land every year surely rise.

There no always profitable investment including the real estate, investment can be profit or loss is depend on you.. Global crisis now is trigger by real estate problem, the price house is going down... but if you true investor you can buy all this cheap property and sell it when the price is high.

yes i can invest in the real estate because it is always profitable.so everyone want to invest in the in the real estate.that real estae is that field which the investor never goes in the loss.
