Does anyone experienced this? How do you manage it? Was it resolved? And I'm wondering with all those financial statements, why does this happened?
Depends on what the discrepancy is. If it is for a missed payment, you will need to notify the company in writing with proof of payment. As long as you do so they need to remove the claim off your report.
Anymore most major credit cards won't penalize your credit for a 30 days late payment. American Express will allow you to go 90 days late before they report you. Sometimes it's just as easy as calling the credit grantor, especially if you have a good relationship with them, and ask them to remove the late payment on your credit report.

Well its very rare if all these things never happen as these kind of situations were actually normal to all of us.

Thank goodness I've never had anything like this happen to me. I try to keep a close eye on things so I can catch a mistake if it happens- as soon as it happens.

I have one. It's something from a woman with the same last name as me. I'm starting the process to have it cleared up. I wasn't even 18 at the time it got put on my credit report.
