I don't waste money to hang out with folks. I don't have money to throw away. I do go visit my friends, and we hang out at their houses. I'm going away for the weekend over Easter, and it won't cost me anything, because we don't do stuff that costs money. We are having a cookout on Easter Sunday, and everyone is bringing something, but that is to be expected.. it's not really wasting money because we all pitch in.

You know to be honest I do not really hangout with a lot of people anymore. I need to make some new friends. I work from home and I do not get out as much as I should. I need to start going out more often than I do and share some time with people that I care about. Thanks for bringing this up.

I do not really hang out with people specially when it comes to spending money as in Big money just to have fun.. I'd rather stay home and make myself comfy-- I saved my money at the same time..

I like to "hang out" with my friends, and it doesn't cost any money to just hang out and visit. A friend and me have started walking and that doesn't cost any money. My only cost is the drive to her house. Another friend and me are just going to spend the afternoon visiting..again, the only thing it is going to cost me is the drive to her house. You can make plans to do things with your friends that do not cost any money and you can have just as much fun as if you were spending the evening out somewhere. I love spending time with my friends.

Why stop hanging out, just invite friends over and tell them bring their own food or better yet find rich friends .............

Not really. Most of my friends are in the same situation. We'll try to get together and do activities which require little if any money. Once a month, the gals will get together on a Sat. afternoon and we have "Mom Time". We will all bring something to eat, and spend the afternoon, coloring each others hair, giving each other pedicures and manicures. It's a great way to save money, and catch up with each other.
