That's why you have to be careful and make sure your bank will back you up in case any thing ever happens. I know CITIbank offers 100% fraud prevention but their service is really slow at times.

Its really scary sometimes, you really won't know what other people are up to. So make a double check on everything.

Maybe you could report that to their boss, letting them know that you did not appreciate that. Sometimes if enough people complain something can be done.

Thats Right! or they maybe there's another way not to key in your account information into the phone. I would certainly report this to the immediate supervisor. Keeping someone private information should be respected.

I've seen this happen in a bank before, where the person in front of me in line couldn't remember their account number, and when the teller asked for her social security number to look it up she blurted it out loud. There is a reason it's so easy for the criminals...most people are too stupid to protect themselves.

I don't like when you are in the check out line and the teller ask you your zip code. Maybe I don't want everybody to know my zip code. Sometimes I tell them I would rather not say.

That really isn't something that can harm you in any way. They are just trying to figure out where the customers are coming from geographically. Now if they ask for your phone number, that is different...
