I haven't much been involve in this situation eversince being on Online business for more than a year now. I have been using a debit card just for precaution.
Anybody here have something to share?
my wfie had her identity stolen. Bank of america is giving her hell about some loans she never took out. It's a real pain in the you know what.
I am sorry to hear that usual. Same thing happened to me with Visa and ebay many years ago. I was never the wronged person in anyones eyes, and it took many years and $$ to prove otherwise. Good luck to your wife.

That's the sad part usualdamvp, being charged of what you didn't use. My in laws were also a victim of this but only for a small amount, and yet they complaint and it was being resolved.

fortunately i was never involved in anything like this till now. However listening to all that, i will be even more careful in the future.
It happened to my cousin, but in my personal experience. I have had unknown sources taking money from me without me knowing. When i looked who it was it was an independent doing it on purpose, led to him being charged for it.
Thankfully I never experienced the stealing of my money (mainly because I have none). But I definitely would get to the bottom of it. Identity theft is more and more common than some people think.
i lost access to my yahoo email account and paypal account. it just happened! one day i was trying to login and i'm getting invalid password.
good thing i only have a few bucks on my paypal.
i reformatted my PC and erased everything. installed new firewall and anti virus.
i guess we can never be too careful
I was not involved in any of these things, but in future I plan to add my debit card to my Paypal account to verify my account!Let us see what happens next!
