Ebay is still a great place to buy second hand goods at some very good prices. Just make sure you read the description of what you are buying carefully and don't bid more than what you are prepared to, try to avoid getting into a bidding war or you could pay too much. Also check the sellers feedback to get an idea of their reputation.Hope this is of help.

It depends to the item that you purchase. If the item is in good condition, they you have save a lot o money. If the item has many damage and needs repair, then the repair will loose you more savings.

yes, something used is worth buying, like baby cot, used TV , washing machine if the house is for renting. and books too.

I try to save money where ever possible so sometimes I even go for second hand items or items on sale. But the quality of the product should be reasonably good to be used again else it will become a waste of effort and most of all a waste of time.

I think buying second hand product is more practical than buying brand new because second hand are more cheaper than the brand new products and it can save a lot of money also. If you can't afford to buy brand new products then just buy second hand but make sure that you bought in a very nice condition so that your money is worth it to buy. I had engaged myself in buying second hand products already and until now I'm still using it.. There's nothing wrong buying or using second hand since I think its more practical and what is more important you save money and able to follow your budget.

it depends....2nd hand books are cheap...some items like electronics are not really worth to buy as 2nd hand, unless you check it that it is okay...else, it is a waste of money if it spoilt
