One area I would like to consolidate on are my student loans. I consolidated at one time, but have added two additional student loans. I may think about it more seriously once I am in repayment, which will hopefully be sooner than later.

thanks for the tips. it was pretty helpful. I am tired of collection agencies and debt collectors harrasing calls. maybe debt consolidation is the best thing for me to do.

I dont agree with this -- just my opinion -- the reason? The consolidation company is making money off of you too and that means your just paying MORE people to get out of debt --- I dont feel it should be necessary to pay other people when your trying to pay off someone else!
