I usually don't buy fast foods for myself, however my kids always want a soda and not water when they have fast food. I'll usually just go buy the food without them and then bring it home so they can't bug me when I'm at the drive-thru window.

Yes i do that because i know i can save a lot. Its better to bring my own bottled water because its expensive to buy drinks at the fast food. It is important nowadays to think of ways to save money that spending because its really hard to earned now, you have to really work hard. So to value our fruits of hard work we should be frugal.

We try to bring kool aid packets with us, but as for water no, we just get it from the restaurant. It's usually free, the water that is. We do this to lose weight not to save money.

I too generally carry water wherever i go. Even otherwise i am not too fond of aerated drinks, but carrying water saves me from buying bottled water while i am outside for a long time..

I have done that in the past, and I should really start doing so once again. Water is definitely better for me than drinking all this diet soda. Instead of frequenting the fast food restaurants...take a packed cooler with you when you know you are going to be gone during your lunch hour. That's what I'll be doing next Saturday when I'm on the road all day.
