Do you thing that Dress Crossing a is a good way to save money? Did you never try it? What do think about? I wrote something about it in my blog here: http://www.destroydebt.com/blogs/fcri/1717-dress-crossing.html

I read your blog! This could be a good idea if you have friends that are your size and have similar taste . Unfortunately I don't have anyone like that near me right now.

I read your blog because I wasn't sure what you meant by dress crossing. I think it is a great idea if you have friends that you can do this with.

i guess for this to happen, your friends and yourself have to be of the same size, shape and taste.Kinda hard to find such friends. but it is kinda a desperate measure to save alittle.since if u invest in clothes, it can last you quite a while before it gets torn.

*quietly adds her name to the list of people who thought you meant "cross dressing"*I like the idea of sharing dresses.  Unfortunately, I don't have any friends who are close to my size.  What all of us usually do to save money is shop at thrift stores.  One of the local stores has great prices on clothing--I've always paid $10 or less for the things I've bought there.  I even got a genuine leather jacket for under $10.  I bet a group of friends who combined thrifty shopping techniques and swapped clothes would have a fantastic time mixing up their wardrobes!
