hey!! these won't act up much in the long run but from personal experience i have seen that a few save pennies makes a dollar after some few days. I usually buys a lot of cosmetics which comes out in the market and seem to have a shelf full of half used cosmetics, like shampoos, lipstick, nail polish, lotions, powders, and etc....toiletries so what i suggest and do now is cut down on it and you can save some small amount to spend on some other good stuffs that you really need. You can also add some more here...

I have enough of cosmetics and toiletries which will last for months I think and I do not spend money on purchasing them as usually get them in gifts from relatives so spending on these items in not in my budget and it saves me a lot. Well I also try to save the expense of salon by trying some home made face packs.

I have never been one to buy a lot of make up even as a teenager.  I do agree with you though, it is an excellent way to reduce spending.  I have found that by using coupons, I have been able to get a lot of personal care products free:  hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body washes.  Most of my perfumes and other lotions that I get at Christmas usually last me until the next season.

I used to wear lots of make up too. But now, since I already left the office to go homebased, I rarely buy cosmetics now. I really get to save big bucks.

I used to spend far too much on these type of items so now I buy shampoo, bubble bath, shower gel when they are on the sale. I buy them in bulk when there are buy one get one free offers too, and normally I go to the cheapest shops possible

I used to spend a fortune on cosmetics, only the best would do. Now I realize that the cheaper brands work just as well, they just don't have as pretty packaging.  On the days when I'm home and not going out at all I don't wear makeup.  The only thing that I will splurge on now is nice perfume.

Thankfully this is not something I have to really worry about.  I don't spend a lot of cosmetic stuff anyways.  And besides, I get stuff like that for Christmas every year so I'm never running out.

When I wear too much makeup, my face breaks out. Sometimes, the most basic products are the best for taking care of skin.  I use Noxema and nothing fancy.

Thats also what I do. Since my bf doesn't like me to wear make-up so thats 1#.  I cut off my hair short so that I will use less shampoo and save more money.
