I never keep it in seperate envelopes.I just keep it in the bank and use as i need.I think the envelope method is good.

I used to know somebody who would do this, he said this was the best way to save for him. It's a good idea, and my fiance and I have envelopes but we have nothing to pay so basically the envelopes are for saving. Ironically we don't even use them for that, the labeling on some are outdated or aren't being used to save for that after all.

I've heard about this trick and I tried it once. It does not work for me. It was inconvenient.

I started a discussion like this a few days ago. This is a good technique in budgeting your money because you get to secure your money for every bill that you have to pay.

My grandmother used to do this and it worked quite well for her. It's a good idea which I'm going to try to show my kids so that they will be financially independent and not have to struggle like their parents.

Envelop Method is very effective in budgeting your monthly income. I still don't do this but a friend of mine already doing it for years.

It is a good idea to have a system but I would think it's better to keep money in the bank if you can, as you earn interest. You can always have separate bank accounts, I have one where all my bills come out of, a savings one, and one where my wages go in.
