In our country, it is usual to give your cp no and it doesn't lead to identity theft coz most of the cp no is prepaid.

Don't give any information to someone you don't know.. specially online.. but admittingly, I did once... .and I blame myself for my innocence.. :(

I'm not sure if it can lead to identity theft but I am very leary about giving my cell number to anyone online that I don't know.
