YES! recession definitely affected me. I want to save, but i do not have a reliable source of income.

Not effected to a great extent. I have been saving as much as i did before, say, a couple of years ago..

Well right now I don't have a job but I quit my job before the economy got bad. We're lucky to have his parents support us so we're doing pretty well on saving money. Ofcourse we're also spending for our wedding. Right now we're saving through the hard times so as to have money after it's over.

It has made me alot more aware of how much more I should have saved back when times were better. Now I try to be much more consistent in savings and thriftier with everything.
