As long as your government is good on a few things tax is beneficial for ones country. First the collection should be fair, there are alot of tax evaders. Then the government should have trusted officials who accounts for all the money collected. Thirdly the government should know how to use these funds wisely to the paying public. Like healthcare benefits, calamity funds, road projects etc.
