Posted on April 2, 2009 at 10:18 pm I live in the Kansas City area, and the other weekend there was a gigantic home auction going on at the convention center.Has anyone had experience with these?I went, and looked (I am thinking of buying... but, have a year or so left of debt to pay off first), but the only thing I came away with was...  an overwhelmed feeling.  I think if I ever do go the auction route, I'd have to go look at all the properties and assign my 'value' on it.  I would then have to send someone else to go deal with the constant chatter of the auctioneer and crowd.There were some amazing value getting thrown around though!  I will definitely be looking for auctions when it comes time to buy!
