I had to ban a number of users today for repeatedly 'referring' themselves and making a single post to take advantage of the referral commission.  There is way too much of this type of stuff going on.  I'm going to start being a lot more strict about banning users for this and other types of activity such as massively spamming posts that do not add anything to the discussions going on here.  This nonsense has to stop or you're going to ruin the revenue share program for everyone.

Wow! It's really sad that just a handul of people are going to ruin a good thing for the rest of us who are trying to learn some great strategies for getting out of debt and who spend hours on the site adding quality content. Thanks for taking the measures that are needed.  This will help keep the site cleaned up.

I hope those spammers don't stay.  Some are coming from other forums where spam is OK, but not here! Can't wait till things go back to normal and we can all get back to posting.

Not all people who will join DestroyDebt (and any other extra earning sites) will become good members, who follow rules and respect other members. There are some who will try to cheat and game the system for their own benefit. It's good you kicked them out! It would be better if there is a feature where members can also police DestroyDebt by reporting the cheaters and spammers. Or does that already exist? (Sorry I'm still a newbie here.)

HI Jeremy,You're right, you should be more strict because there are lot of spammers. This site is good and hope it will last long. I'm just new here and It really helps me a lot and I learn so many things here by just reading in some tips on how to deal with debt.

This is a good move and all members should be warned about posting their own referral link in the posts.  There are also member who are posting their blog link everywhere, wanting to earn on impression incentive.  I think this is bad as well and I hope DD can make it loud & clear what shouldn't be done.

This is really great to hear . This action is very necessary for spam control .I heard many peoples earning 100s in a week or 10 days which is  not possible if done genuinely. Thanks for the info.
