If you're an impulsive buyer, making a shopping list is the best way to resist the urge of picking up items that might pique your interest and yet is entirely unnecessary. One of the most common reasons why people go way over their budget is because of impulse buying. It's always wise to make sure you don't spend beyond your means - and making a shopping list (and sticking to it) is the best way to do it.

My family have been doing this for about a decade now. It had really helped us stick within the budget. And by doing this, you can be certain that you can get all the necessary items and not forget some. It's really helpful in keeping things in order and definitely helps in saving money.
