I get a lot of free magazines in the mail, so that is a really great idea! Gift wrap can get expensive!  Thanks for sharing :-)

I think newspaper looks nice too. You can always use brown paper and draw decorations on it

yes, its really a good way to saved money i always do that during Christmas since i have lots of godchildren and friends i am using my old glossy magazines for gift wrapping you just add some extra ribbons for decorations and be creative and "voila" it turn out to be a unique gift wrapper and personalized something that my friends appreciate it:)

I have done this before. I used newspaper. The black and white prints contrasted with the red bow I added.

Newspaper works well too when combined with a bright red ribbon.  The comics section is cute for kids and for teens I use old National Enquirer or Star Magazine where the teen hearthrobs are.
