Many teachers are unwilling to be posted to remote areas or in far end of the country side as development is lacking and public utilities are a far cry from the modern cities. Our government is aware of these reluctance from the teachers and has decided to add 50% allowance on their basic pay as an incentive allowance. This is too good an offer to refuse and many teachers are happy to teach in the countryside.

Yes it is true the government will give teachers a percentage off their loans (perkins) if they choose to teach in inner city like Detroit or remote areas like AZ. I would go in a heartbeat if it were not for my kids. Ha! Maybe I'll end up in AZ when my youngest kid turns 18.
