Is Alertpay the safe payment processor?Because many sites pay via Alertpay.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I know paypal, it's been around for several years. Lately though I have heard of people discussing Alert, and I am not really familiar with it. I was going to sign up for another forum this a.m. but the only method of payment was through alert. I don't have an alert account. Does anyone have it? Is it a reliable payment option?
