There are still tons of things you can do in the summer that won't break your budget or empty your wallet! Some of my cheap favorites:go on a picnic!go to the zoo. - a lot of zoos are around $10 a ticket . If you live near a zoo and have a family you can get a family membership and visit the zoo as many times as you'd like for the year. They're a great deal!go to a baseball game. For a rainy day - find out if your area has a $1 movie theater.I'm looking forward to other's ideas.....

Summer Outings are always in the budget.  I am buying a state park sticker this year, which usually costs $24.00 or a little less.  We can visit the parks all year long with that sticker.  The kids and I love to go walking through Hartwick Pines. We love to go to the city parks and have picnic lunches.  The kids love to play on the play equipment and I like to read while we are there. We go to the state parks where there is a nice beach front, and we can stay cool by the water and make sand castles.  A favorite activity of my youngest son. We also like to have bar-b-que's at the parks.  We have to buy the charcoal, and it takes gas money to get to the park. Another thing we like to do is go for a Sunday drive.  If the gas prices stay around $2.00 a gallon, we might be able  to go for a couple of Sunday drives this summer.

I use to think of a program to workout in my summer vacations but I never got a chance to do that. I hope it can be of some use to you. If you have a group of friends who like to spend some time outing and earn at the same time, then you can do this as there will be a lot of companies offering this kind of campaigns where you needs to advertise their services on common places.

After your summer outing if you have savings then you can go for it.Otherwise you can spend time going to free parks and gardens. You can also eat healthy snacks from the shop to pass your time.

We have a lot of beaches near us, so when its summer we just go their along with the whole family. It is cheap because we will just bring our own food and the same time we enjoy. Sometime we also go and visit water falls which is not that far and not expensive. We do need a break once in a while. It doesn't need to be extravagant just to enjoy the summer, all we just need is to find a good and reasonable place to  spend your summer.

I don't plan for summer outings. I don't have time. I wish I had.
