In my country (Philippines) there is a cellphone insurance available here. Seldom have laptops here so that knid of insurance is not yet being offered here.

that's very good !! an insurance covering your cell phone!!reduces the risk of losing a good phone!!Wish we had something similar here in India as well!!

I don't think its possible to give our mobile phone and laptops insurance. We can, however, give them additional hard support or software support.

I have insurance on my cell phone but I feel that I will never use it. I know it is nice to have if the unthinkable happens when you are using it. Or if someone steals or you lose it. In the end I feel if you think you need it than you need it. I think it is a lot better to pay like 50 bucks to get a new phone vs paying like 200 dollars! As for a laptop I would say you might be able to get a warrenty on it but I have no idea about insurance on it. I guess you might be able to add it to a home policy of some sort that way you claimed as owning it and if it got stolen or broke maybe they would cover it. I am not saying you can do this I would check into it. Take care and I hope this helps.

ya that would be great but not everything can be how you want it to bealso there are commodity insurance which would protect you from theft etc

I dont know about computers, but i have verizon wireless phone company & you can get insurance through them. It is like $5 a month.
