For everything that we purchase we pay tax yes you cannot evade that but if you have your farm to produce your own vegetables or meat then you pay less tax

I am from the Philippines, one of the most corrupt country in the world. I used to pay high taxes for the government before and I didn't see any improvement. The government employees are lazy and don't give dedication to their work, many corrupt government officials. I don't benefit for paying taxes and its not worthwhile.

sophie_dfuss : It's so sad that you can make a generalization about our country so easily. I believe that there are still honest people in our goverment. Probably you just haven't noticed the projects created by the goverment to help our countrymen...I still think it's our duty/responsibility to pay our taxes regularly.

pretty much everyone pays taxes, you can't really get away from them as you pay it on everything. but different people pay different taves, it is the publics responsibilty to pay taxes especially in my country as the money from taxes goes to schools and hospitals.

Sweetseoul: You don't have any idea how the government taxes works for the people in western countries. If you only knew, you would realise that our country 's government is so corrupt and useless.

It is a responsibility to pay taxes to the government in every country. These taxes are being used for the benefit and growth of the country.
