I'm keeping something a side every month for rainy days. you never know when you'll going to need the money right? So I see to it to set a side an emergency fund every month.

I save my change, my money that I make online and any money that I find while doing the laundry.  I put it all in a big coffee can that no one knows where it is but me, and a couple of times a year I take it to the bank and have them put it in my savings account.

It's always prudent to save money. You never know when an emergency arrives where you need to pay or spend for something necessary.

Certainly I would rather save for the rainy days as you'll never know what will happen next. So save your pennies.

I think it should be compulsary for one to save aset a sum of money for rainy days.who knows what might happen tomorrow? (Touch Wood).Even the amount you set aside every month for this RAINY FUNDS are alittle, these little funds could go a long way.Its better than not saving emergency funds at all

I save for future use and I also save separately for something I want to buy. It's a lot more effective because if i only have one, general saving, it may end up funding my impulsiveness but if i save separately for something I want to buy in the future then it will be more goal oriented and the result would definitely be a lot better.
