I don't think it is a right time to sell your house. I would suggest you wait for a couple of years. The government is trying ways to implement things that would help boost the economy. But this could take a while. If you are in a hurry to dispose off your property than that is another matter. You would have to be content with what you are being offered in the current scenario.

I think it is a poor time to sell a home if you don't absolutely need to. Homes are selling for much lower than they are appraised at because the economy is so poor. Most of these homeowners are victims of the recession and cannot continue their mortgage so they have to choice but to take a loss. If you can, wait until the economy picks up again so that you can get what your home is worth.

This is certainly not the best time to sell your home. I sell real estate in Mexico and have many clients that would like to retire or move here if they could only sell their homes. This is a buyers market not a sellers. Some of my clients have dropped their home prices considerably and still can't sell. Hang on to it a little longer unless you are in an area that hasn't been affected by the market.

In my country, it is a buyers market because interest rates are down and house prices are low.

yes, others are right. this is not a good time to sell your property. you will just become one of the motivated sellers like the rest. if you're not in a hurry, then it's advisable to wait for the economy to pick up, that way, you can demand a good price.

it's not yet a good time to sell a house. since we are in crisis right now, it's hard to sell it because people are still busy earning money for their needs and a house is not yet in their mind.
