I pay tax annually. Maybe different countries have different systems of paying tax?

Many employees in the US have taxes taken out of their weekly/bi-weekly paycheck and then file a tax return once a year. Some get a rebate if they have paid too much or can prove that they have adequate deductions to deserve a refund of some of the money paid.

It is essential to pay tax every month if you are earning monthly also for other services at the time of earning.  It is not annual as you say.

We normally file taxes once in a year and my lawyer does it for me so don't have much of idea on it. All i do is making the necessary payments and everything else is done by my lawyer.

It depends if you're a business or individual, and where you're located.  It can also differ from individual to individual as a lot of people in this world work all kinds of jobs such as being self-employed or working in a company, or being an independent contractor.
