how many years you can settle your student loan? a year? 3 years?

well, for me it's 2 years and 2-3 month.

Still working on it. Mostly cause the loan went into default without my knowing about it and they tacked a thousand dollars onto it, so even though we'd already paid that amount (in the last year) they just tacked it right back on top. So, now it's as if we didn't pay a penny to reduce the debt. So far to go!
