This post needs to be kept alive as everyday I see more and more people asking this question.."How do rep points work, and what are they?"Well rep points are what are used to determine your "rank" on the site. Rep points are given based on the following criteria..Each.. Forum Post:

Yes, it is simply a ranking. The more you post and stay active in the forums, the more rep points you will have.

honestly this help me, bacause i thought that rep points were give from other members . Like if we help them and thats the way they thank us, also for others to know that he is trusted here..
