Posted on January 21, 2009 at 11:32 pm I have been told by some that I need a hobby (apparently forum trolling isn't a good past time?)I was thinking about some things I like doing, and most aren't hobbies (or good ones).  About the only things I do consistently are reading, and playing video games.  While the first isn't terrible, the second is horrible!  And then there is the TV watching and internet surfing...  I am a huge time waster apparently.For all you people who have a specific hobby you love, how did you get into it?

Posted on January 26, 2009 at 9:40 pm I love to read books, fiction and non-fiction.My other hobby, which can be a waste of time if done for too long, is to "hang out" on Facebook. I love to see what all my friends are up to because it keeps me connected to them even though many are far away.The positive side of all the time I spend on Facebook is the networking I can do for my freelance writing. I have found so many resources just in my friend network alone!

Posted on March 16, 2009 at 8:44 pm Hey, what's wrong with forum trolling?  OMG  I think that internet surfing has become one of my favorite hobbies.  This can't be good.  But in my defense, I also like to read, dance, eat and play board games.  I also like to do crafts, but everything that I make is horrible.

Posted on March 17, 2009 at 4:49 pm I probably wouldn't spend so much time surfing the internet if I wasn't also trying to earn money.  I love the internet and I love interacting with other people. Even before I was struggling, I would spend a couple hours a day surfing the internet.  Now my focus has shifted, and I wouldn't be surprised if it takes another shift.  As I stated, my goal is to get my debt paid off and purchase a house for me and my kids.  Other hobbies I enjoy doing are:  scrapbooking, photography (I have to buy a new camera!), reading (I made a goal to read at least two books a month, and I just finished my first one for this month), crocheting (I'm almost done with my son's afghan), and a lot of summer activities.  Once summer rolls around, I may not be surfing as much, but you can bet I will still be trying to be earning a dime whenever the opportunity arises.
