Hi, All,I just went thru a lot of lost cash and pain dealing with a fraudulent credit repair agency.The reason I'm posting this is just to hopefully help someone else by warning them away from these companies.Lets just say i wish someone had warned me about just ONE of the 36 companies described in this pdf file....http://www.ftc.gov/os/2008/10/081023sweeplist.pdfHere is an example...I3 SOLUTIONS INC, GENE SCHWALEN: Cease & Desist issued to i3 Solutions, Inc., Texas (Gene Schwalen, CEO), by NC Attorney General.Item 1. N Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper issues Cease and desist letter to i3 Solutions (McKinney, Texas) on March 6, 2008.Item 2. Federal Trade Commission 'Operation Clean Sweep' crackdown on credit repair companies. Item 3. NC Attorney General demanded following companies stop charging consumers upfront fees for credit repair in violation of state law: I3 Solutions, Inc., McKinney; Texas, et al. Hi, thanks for sharing that, and speaking of credit repair - consumers should know that only them, and their commitment to eliminating debt, and  paying bills on time would be able to repair their credit.They really don't need those agencies.

Speaking of credit repair - here's a how to:-request for your credit limit to be lowered.-reduce the number of credit cards that you carry. -close some of your accounts and don't forget to let the credit reporting bureaus change the status on your report.-if you are re-establishing credit, ask someone you trust to co-sign for you.-get a secured card.-make payments on time.-obtain a copy of your credit report to spot for errors.-correct those errors.
