I've got about 11000 on 2 cards that I'm dealing with right now; about 1500 left in available credit.Are most of you in the same boat? Or are you practically done conquering your debt, and here more in an 'advisory' capacity?

Hansom, That is a great question. I am not sure what the ratio of advisory vs. knowledge gathering however the questions posted here usually get some really good responses. Keep checking your post and see if something comes up that appeals to you.There are many ways of handling your debt situation. You can call a certified debt counselor that can work out some type of budget for you where the debt would get paid off over a long period of time with little to no effect to your credit. You can also go to CCCS where they will work with the creditors to try to reduce interest rates and get you on a payment plan to pay off the debt over a long period of time. This has a negative impact on your credit but not as hurtful as Debt Settlement. Debt Settlement is the cheapest, most time efficient way to reduce your debt however it is not as bad as the last resort, Bankruptcy. Good luck!

One totals 800.00 finally current! One totals 740.00 almost current and the other one totals a little over 4,000.0

I a lot of little ones, but they add up - but I am dilligent in paying them down. Got two more years of plan to go.

About $6,000 between three of them. We got them a few years back before we "educated" ourselves. We no longer use them and are just paying down on them.

I have somewhere close to $4500 on three cards. I'm paying them off at a slow pace but hopefully I'll be able to pay off the one with the most on it ($2000) in a few months. I've learned my lessons with credit cards and have already closed the accounts for all except the smallest one (credit line of $650).

My total debt on credit cards is probably around 650$ now.
