Rarely do you find someone with a perspective on credit repair that is not at the far end of one of these extremes. Person who ignores the possibility of credit repair, will fall into the category of people whose credit scores will only improve through the passage of time. ----------------- Sally

Posted on November 1, 2008 at 3:18 pm I'm not sure what this post was really getting at?  The only way to fix something on your credit report is if it was not true to begin with!  A rather humorous example is, my sister had her mother listed at her spouse according to her credit report!  So, all of my mother's late payments and debts became hers!  This, obviously (however creepy), was in error!  That can be removed/repaired.  However, if you just don't make payments for a year and a half...  That will be on your report until time wears it down.  You can repair credit by making payments and reducing your debt load, but your mistakes will remain until time makes them go away.
