I think some prices of items which are necessary for our use are not much affordable nowadys.Especially the prices of fuel and transportation. Is this trend going to continue to ruin our dear savings. What do you think about affording future prices.

I don't think prices are going to stop increasing.  I have even noticed on some grocery items that the price is still the same but the package is smaller.

Unfortunately prices will continue to rise as natural resources become more and more scare they will cost more. We really do need more natural forms of fuel to help lower costs and save our natural resources

Ten years ago, food was super cheap along with rent prices. Now our rent is double and so is the price we pay for food. Before my daughter was born, we could survive off $50 weekly in homecooked food. But not anymore.

What I find amazing is that the prices keep going up but not all employers can afford to give cost of living raises...so what are we suppose to do to keep going???

You're right. Specially with the global crisis nowadays it is very hard to spend but we have too because we need those for our survival.

The more the petrol increase, the more we expect price increase because that's how it goes. It is just too bad that we can't do anything to stop those oil companies that keep increasing their petrol prices. Wish we can find some alternative ways to solve this kind of situation. Anyway life has to go on and we just need to work hard to survive.

It  seems that prices never go down, only up.  There are only so many options left for reducing the amount that we spend to live, public transportation, less meat in our diets, conserving electricity.  Living frugal has become a way of life to me, but how many more corners can people cut?

I don't think so that we can be able to afford the prices of fuel and transportation if the condition continues to be like this. Either the financial conditions should increase or the prices should be reduced or else we will be left with no savings and even harder times.
