Keep your checking account at a bank that doesn't charge you for using its ATM machines. 2. Don't use an ATM machine belonging to an institution where you don't bank. 3. Consider using a credit union. Its ATM fees are usually lower. 4. If you use an ATM regularly, withdraw larger amounts of money to reduce the number of times you are charged a fee. 5. Avoid ATMs that surcharge. 6. Use a teller instead of an ATM, especially when lines at the bank ATM are long. Be certain, however, that you won't be charged a teller fee! www.citicredit.asia

WEll I know at least in the Us National City Bank I guess has a program that you can use any atm that you want and they will not charge you. As for the ATM that is owned by that bank there might be a charge. I just wanted to let people know there are some banks that do not charge. Hope this helps.

I have found that there are a few ATMs that you will get charged through the ATM the fee of 2 dollars, AND an extra 2 dollars for withdrawing from the bank. So withdrawing 20 dollars really made me lose 4! I try to pay cash for everything. I am always sure to withdraw money at the beginning of the week of what I think I can spend until my next pay day. If I don't, I try my hardest to get to my bank, or an ATM from my bank. And if all else fails, I will withdraw extra money when I have to pay the 2 dollar fee, just in case I need money later, I wont want to pay ANOTHER 2 dollar fee.
