My husband writes a check for same amount and sends it off at the same time every month and still for three days before the deadline we still get calls? Why? We can only afford to pay so much and our situation hasn't changed. Doesn't this qulaify as harassment? My husband isn't bothered by the calls but I am.

Try paying your credit card bill/loan payment online using your bank account. Many times, payments made by mail encounter delays which means you'll end up with late fees and harrassing phone calls.
