My husband has been after me forever to start a budget and I never wanted to do it. I felt like it restricted me too much. We started trying the envelope/cash system last month and it has been great. I feel a lot more control and I don't feel restricted. Now it's a challenge to see how much I can have left over in the envelopes. If I'm that frugal I let myself skim off the top! Mommy tax! I have definitely seen the light when it comes to budgeting.
