I assume most of us have heard about the car plants that GM's closing.
I don't remember a time in recent years when I've heard of several plants going down like that.
I don't want to sound like all doom and gloom, but do you think that this is worse than any cycle that we've seen so far?
this news came in the month of July again, that the GM's candian truck plant at Oshawa is shutting down. they had some major labour issues. the shutting down would have caused 2000 job cuts in canada

The automobile industry is worst affected by economic slowdown and the rising fuel prices.Most of them are running in marginal profits.I fear this trend will continue for some years.
yes it has to! with slowdown and the way steel prices are increasing it will happen sooner ot later
