I don't use credit cards and I don't own a house. I have always rented. But I found out the other day my credit score was pretty good. If you pay off hospital bills, does that compute into the rating of your credit score?

Only if it was a loan. For the most part, regular bills are not reported to credit bureaus.

Once I had an electric bill reported to my credit card, cause I did not pay the last month before moving out of state. I didn't know about the bill. I don't think regular bills are reported though. But they don't mind reporting you for non-payment.

How do they calculate the credit score? - hello there, I do not know exactly how they add or subtract to your credit score - but to give you an idea as to how your FICO credit score looks like, here's the breakdown::::: -35% Payment History/ - 30% Amount Owed/ -15% Length of Credit History -10% New Credit/ -10% Types of Credit Used/

I am not sure about their scoring method as well but, if for example, you've undergone debt settlement and have successfully graduated - the Payment History and Amount Owed segments of the FICO score, which were suffering even before you enrolled, are only going to improve.

I think they use the different mortgage calculators depending on the mortgage plans. I can't say that different companies are having their different plans.
