What's with the new Rep Points?
I notice we all have "Rep Points" now. This can't possibly be the number of posts (or is it and I'm missing something?)
Did I miss the bit that tells us about this and can somebody point me to it please?? Thanks :)

Actually that's a real old post about a previous rep system when the site was using a different board.
For now it's just a means of assign reputation to highlight the more active members, but there will be a rewards program coming shortly
The point system is:
Forum Post: 5 points
Article/Blog Comment: 5 points
Blog Post: 20 points
The rewards program is in place now. See the
thread here for details. The rep points have been updated to approximately match the amount earned from this program (in cents). The rep points don't include the amount earned from other members you refer, just the ones directly earned.
