I'm on an emotional tear. Never a borrower nor a lender be...........as the song goes. Many sit here and wallow in our desperate situations. Emotions race all over the place from guilt to anger. I'm at a place right now where anger is starting to overcome the guilt I've been feeling for the last several months as I've desperately sought every means for resolving my current financial crisis. The creditors and collectors call me at their leisure most hours of the day. Yes, there are things I can do to reduce that problem but short of bankruptcy or paying my debt off, I will never eliminate it entirely. When I had good credit, getting to discuss much of anything with either a real person or a real English speaking person was frequently a challenge. None of my creditors / collectors will honor my request to communicate in writing regarding my accounts nor will they respond to my written communications but they expect me to pick up the phone to speak with them.......hmmmmmm.My creditor gets to write off his losses on my accounts if they can't collect. I've never been able to write off the interest on any of my debt other than my mortgage. If I default and have to declare bankruptcy or settle I even get to pay a tax on my debt that is discharged..........wow. What interest rate do you suppose BEAR financial or any of the other large corporations paid after our goverment had to bail them out at the tax payer expense ? The goverment can't and shouldn't get involved in everything but if they are going to offer bailouts and protections for one and not the other then there is clearly a lack of balance. Hillary and Obama are making alot of promises resolving the foreclosure issue. Not that I expect any follow through but if they do, how does that help the thousands who will or already have lost their homes prior to the election ? Do the corporate CEO's have an increase in their car insurance or problems getting jobs when they allow their company to go into default ? The goverment has chosen to regulate and control many areas of the business world and our lives. Protection has to be equal and fair if it is being administered by our goverment. Uncle Sam? I want my bail out.
It sounds like you are writing the manuscript for the poor unwashed masses realilty TV show. Here's an idea - read the Declaration of Independence. Compare what Jefferson wrote to what is happening today. See any similarities? If you do, what is your action plan?
Ameri
ka is a reality. The living priveleged elite are a reality. Judges work for the king, another reality. That's why I say it is a reality show.
Have you ever been an active protestor in the trenches trying to change the system? It is quite an experience and one everyone should have to endure. The king has a way of stifling desent. He sends his armed soldiers to destroy the protestors. Then his judges sentence the protestors to long terms inside Club Fed only not the ones on the Florida beaches.
Waco was such an example. The armed soldiers thought nothing of killing 20 children aged 5 and younger. What do you believe they will think about killing you?
When they call your property a "compound" the end is near. They play by their rules and their rules change at their whim. That means they can burn your compound, storm your compound with guns blazing or anything else they please.
Their media cronies sit on the sideline and report their side of the story and then cover up any improprieties done by the soldiers. It isn't pretty but it is the Ameri
kan way.
I am only relating personal experience sans the club fed time. I don't care if you believe it or not, like it or not, think it won't happen to you or just don't care. That is the landscape upon which you tread.
Be careful, it is dangerous out there...
I've known this for a long time, it's not the if, it's the when. We have been frogs in a pot of slow boiling water for many years. Not just here, it's a world wide problem.
